SERVICE

The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies is the representative voice of Jewish communal interests in New South Wales. The Board has over sixty constituent organisations under its umbrella representing every area of Jewish community activity, including the major institutions of Jewish education.

The Board’s Speaker Service has been operating for more than 35 years. The service provides speakers on any topic related to Jewish affairs and Israel, and we can provide speakers to address topics relating to the following Syllabus topics:

Stage 6 Modern History: Creation of Israel and Arab Israel Conflict
Stage 6 Modern History: National Study of Germany 1918 – 1939; Selected topics from Conflict in Europe 1935 – 1945
Studies of Religion: Stage 6 Judaism

The Board can also arrange for appropriate speakers to address students and teachers on the following subjects:

Jewish Life in Australia
Australian Jewish History
The Holocaust
